MBA Colleges in Delhi Accepting Entrance Exams Other Than CAT (2026 Admission Guide)

The choice of an MBA college does not necessarily revolve around how well a candidate scores in the Common Admission Test (CAT). In fact, quite a few MBA aspirants choose to take other national or university-level entrance exams as a backup. For admissions in MBA 2026, a number of MBA colleges in Delhi and Delhi NCR are opening up to the idea of accepting scores from a variety of exams, including IPU-CET, CUET-PG, MAT, CMAT, XAT, GMAT, ATMA, and NMAT, thereby giving more choice and scope to students.

Based on the admission figures, CAT still holds the major share as an entrance test. However, other tests like MAT and CMAT have also gained popularity to the extent that several hundred colleges are taking these into consideration while shortlisting students for an MBA. Along with CAT, tests such as CUET- PG, and IPU- CET are also gaining importance, especially in the case of university-affiliated programs.

CAT mock tests matter a lot in the preparation for CAT. RDIAS students are motivated to take a series of CAT mock tests, evaluate their performance, and find their weak spots. Consequently, this leads to better speed, accuracy, and exam temperament.

preparation is not something that happens overnight but rather it is a step, by, step process that requires, among other things, consistency, discipline, and smart planning. MBA candidates with the right support, targeted practice, and regular assessment can raise their CAT scores and, by that, get one step closer to being admitted to a top MBA program at RDIAS and other institutions.
